Office Plant Hire in London
Amaranté London designs, installs and maintains plants for offices across London. We plan the scheme around your space and light levels, supply planters, and return on a set schedule to keep everything healthy - with no minimum contract and no minimum spend. Most offices are planted within two weeks of a consultation.
How much does office plant hire cost in London?
Most London offices we plant fall between £500 and £3,000 per month, depending on plant count, planter finish and visit frequency. We always work to a stated budget: tell us the number and we design to it.
A real example: a Farringdon office runs around 20 plants across the whole space, covering desk and tabletop planting, shelving, the kitchen and canteen, and the meeting rooms, plus one statement tree. That comes to £610 per month with maintenance visits included.
Three things move the number most. Plant count and size come first: a scheme of desk and shelf planting sits at the lower end, while statement trees and oversized palms carry most of any budget. Planter choice is second: simple containers cost least, decorative and bespoke planters more. Visit frequency is third: weekly care costs more than fortnightly, and we recommend the least frequent schedule your plants will genuinely thrive on, not the most we can sell.
What's included in a plant hire contract?
Everything: design consultation, plants, planters, delivery and installation, then scheduled maintenance visits - watering, feeding, pruning and health checks. Any plant that fails is replaced without charge. You choose the visit frequency; we adjust it seasonally.
A typical visit covers watering and feeding, pruning, cleaning the leaves, and a health check of every plant, with anything struggling swapped before it shows. Most offices settle into a monthly rhythm. We adjust through the year, as air conditioning and summer light change what your plants need. At the end of a contract we collect everything and leave the space as we found it. Most clients never think about their plants between visits, which is the point.
Which plants work best in offices?
Light decides most of it. Bright receptions and window runs suit Kentia Palms, Fiddle Leaf Figs and flowering Anthuriums. Darker corners and internal meeting rooms call for Snake Plants, Golden Pothos and Peace Lilies, which hold their colour away from windows. Air conditioning dries a space more than people expect, so we favour species that tolerate it rather than fight it.
Taller planting doubles as screening between desks and softens acoustics. It's the same matching we did across three floors for Fauna & Flora and the palms at Alo's Regent Street flagship.
Do you offer short-term office plant hire?
Yes. Alongside ongoing contracts we plant offices for launches, filming, exhibitions and events, with no minimum notice. We have dressed spaces in under 48 hours. Short-term hire includes delivery, styling and collection.
It works simply: tell us the space, the date and the look, and we come back with a proposal within a couple of working days. We deliver and style on the day, then collect when it's done, whether that's one afternoon or a month. Recent short-term work includes exhibition stands at the ExCeL and brand launches across London. If the project is an event first and an office second, our event plant hire team takes it from here.
