As our first big event, we were commissioned as an event florist to headline the National Wedding Show as their Leading wedding and events floral design partner. The event organizers asked us for a floral design that would create an exhibition full of autumnal shades with hints of green.
Our Flowers for Weddings at the National Wedding Show
We began selecting flowers to transform a colour scheme into a breathtaking floral exhibition. The Wedding show invites wedding planners, prospective brides, and grooms, along with many others, to an interactive event that showcases brands who participate in everything wedding related.
After two years of cancellation due to COVID, the National Wedding Show was finally returning, and we wanted to create something unforgettably unique and inspiring - something nobody had seen before.
THE BRIEF
Like with every event floral design, we started by sending a sample of seasonal and responsibly sourced stems from our array of growers so the client could select their colour scheme and focus stems. Using the client's inspiration, our florists and graphics teams worked to produce sketches of our floral wedding designs. This way, they could see the installations we had imagined for the event. These ranged from hanging light fixtures to archways. Once they decided, it was time to create and install our floral designs. We created the larger installations on sight because we were able to bring a team of florists with us to the National Wedding Show, which in itself was an amazing experience.
With so many guests in attendance, we needed to ensure plenty of photo opportunities. We needed unforgettable backdrops that would be worthy of queueing for a snap. We did this by placing floor-standing blossoms in front of a row of mirrors. Using creamy colours and fluffy textures allowed us to create the feeling of being surrounded by a magical meadow.
The events team produced an exhibit that we will forever be proud of. We intricately arranged our unique wedding floral designs to create the most breathtaking displays. We invited attendees to our exhibit and provided free face-to-face consultations. Our objective was to help explore the numerous themed flowers for weddings in our collections to inspire their wedding dreams.
We dressed the catwalk models and watched as they elegantly flaunted our stunning bridal bouquets, as well as our buttonholes.
