For their penultimate double-header weekend, Formula E brought their E-Prix to London's first certified carbon neutral building, the Excel Centre. Formula E were seeking an experienced event florist who could design and produce striking corporate flower arrangements that were also in keeping with their sustainable, ethical values to bring some floral joy to their event.

THE BRIEF
Having used only plants for some natural decoration in previous years, this year, Formula E were seeking to do something different and wanted to add some floral décor as an additional feature.
As their chosen event florist, we were tasked with designing a range of unique bespoke installations throughout their location at the Excel London, capable of capturing the eye of all attendees throughout the day.
INSPIRATIONS
Like many of the corporate installations we've created before, colour was a huge inspiration when it came to designing these installations. Our florists originally proposed arrangements using a variety of blue preserved flowers of the highest quality of ethically produced, inspired by the brand colours of Formula E. However, they observed that blue isn't a natural colour for flowers. The event organisers decided that the main colour scheme would be purple, adding natural greens and light pinks.
OUR FLORAL DESIGNS
Being the second largest event at the Excel London this year, there were many opportunities for people to enjoy and admire our florals. For the interior spaces, our team created planters filled with a range of vibrant and neutral stems. These dried flowers were presented in planters and large freestanding vases, but all presented a unified design. We also placed these planters outside. We also created a vibrant flower arch in a very similar style to the planters.
We then continued to use the same design and colour theme in small table arrangements displayed throughout the main conference room. Other small table arrangements were then placed on tables in the yachts to bring these unique corporate flower arrangements to every part of the event.
Along with our gorgeous bespoke installations, we also used plants to continue the neutral, environmental theme and add an additional style to the floral installations.
