Luxury Christmas Wreath - Amaranté London

Three European-Inspired Christmas Wreaths for 2025

Posted by Customer Support on

From Scandinavian forests to Spanish citrus groves to the gilded rooftops of Prague - this year's Christmas wreath collection draws inspiration from three of Europe's most atmospheric cities. Our London florists have created each floral design to capture a distinct sense of place, using carefully chosen Christmas flowers that reflect the colours and character of these popular European destinations.

Whether you prefer cool Scandinavian greens, warm Mediterranean citrus, or the golden glow of Central European baroque, we have a Christmas wreath to suit your taste.

Götenberg Christmas Wreath: Scandinavian Greens and Whites

Close-up detail of luxury Christmas wreath featuring fresh dark green conifer sprigs, bright yellow-green flowering clusters, dark ornamental dried grasses, fresh eucalyptus leaves, white cascading dried strands, dark green velvet ribbon bow, and burgundy-toned dried botanical accents - Amaranté London

The Götenberg Christmas wreath is a tribute to one of Europe's most sustainable cities. For this wreath, our floral design focused on a restrained palette: deep conifer greens, soft whites, and earthy browns that wouldn't look out of place in a Nordic forest.

The foundation combines Scotch Pine with Silver Asparagus to create a layered texture you see in Scandinavian Christmas flowers. White Amaranthus cascades through the design, adding movement. At the same time, Green Skimmia and Populus bring subtle variation in leaf shape and tone. Scabiosa Seed adds an unexpected element - those spherical heads breaking up the flowing lines.

What makes these Christmas flowers work is the restraint. There's no glitter, no baubles, just botanicals in their natural state. The dark green velvet ribbon finishes it without competing for attention. If your decorating style leans minimal, or you want a Christmas wreath that feels grown rather than manufactured, this is the one.

Prague Christmas Wreath: Baroque Gold and Forest Green

Luxury Christmas wreath featuring fresh dark green conifer sprigs, multiple brown pinecones, golden-tan dried grasses and seed heads, cream-colored dried flower clusters, grey ornamental dried botanicals, bare architectural branches, finished with dark green and white silk velvet ribbon bow - Amaranté London

Anyone who has visited Prague in winter knows that particular quality of light - the way the afternoon sun catches those gilded domes and spires against a grey sky. That contrast of warm gold against deep evergreen is precisely what our florists captured in this Christmas wreath.

Pine and Scotch Pine form the base, layered with White Ruscus and Grevillea, creating depth in the greenery. The gold in this Christmas wreath comes from Gold Asparagus, Gold Lotus Seed, and Gold Peppercorn, each catching the light in its own way. Cream-coloured Christmas flowers (White Helichrysum) soften the metallic tones, while Snowy Pine Cones add a frosted quality.

The bare architectural branches of Populus give this wreath its structure - they're reminiscent of the intricate ironwork you see throughout Prague's Old Town. The overall effect is rich without being heavy. These Christmas flowers work particularly well against dark-painted doors or stone surroundings, where the gold tones really stand out.

Seville Christmas Wreath: Citrus and Warmth

Macro detail of luxury Christmas wreath featuring dried orange slices with golden rims, brown textured pinecones, fresh dark green conifer sprigs, bright red berry clusters on crimson stems, fresh eucalyptus leaves, grey ornamental dried grasses, and coral-orange ribbon accent - Amaranté London

Seville's streets are famous for their orange trees. The city's renowned citrus groves have been producing fruit since the Moors introduced them centuries ago. This Christmas wreath is a symbol of southern warmth, with Christmas flowers arranged around whole oranges and grapefruit slices.

The citrus sits against a base of Scotch Pine and Pine, with Champagne Asparagus adding a soft golden undertone. Red Ilex and Red Skimmia provide those bright berry clusters that contrast with the orange tones - Christmas flowers that feel both traditional and distinctly Mediterranean.

As they dry, the orange slices develop golden rims, catching the light beautifully. Combined with textured pinecones, fresh eucalyptus leaves, and ornamental dried grasses, these Christmas flowers have real visual depth. The coral-orange ribbon ties the warm tones together.

This Christmas wreath is the most vibrant design in the collection - ideal for those seeking Christmas flowers that stand out and bring a sense of sunshine to the darker months. It looks particularly striking against white or cream doors.

Ordering Your Christmas Wreath

All three designs come in a standard 20-inch size, ideal for making an impact on a front door without overwhelming the space. Our Christmas flowers collection is available for delivery from 26th November, and we recommend ordering by 21st December to ensure your Christmas wreath arrives in time for the festivities.

Each design is crafted by our expert event florists using a combination of fresh and dried botanicals. The dried elements - the orange slices, the gold-sprayed seeds, the preserved grasses - mean these Christmas flower arrangements will last throughout the season and beyond.

If you're looking for something bespoke or want to learn the craft yourself, our Christmas wreath-making workshops run in early December. It's a chance to work alongside our florists and design your own Christmas wreath or Christmas flowers centrepiece using professional techniques and quality materials.
