For the celebrated Chelsea in Bloom festival, The Five Fields, a Michelin star restaurant renowned for its dedication to garden-to-plate freshness, sought a bespoke floral installation that highlighted and embodied the lush abundance of its gardens. We were engaged as their event florist and chosen partner to bring their vision to life.

The collaborative process began with in-depth discussions between Amaranté London’s event florists and The Five Fields’ culinary experts. Together, they conceived an installation that would resonate with the restaurant’s natural abundance and sustainability ethos. The concept was to create a visually captivating floral arrangement representing the garden’s diverse produce and the integral role of bees in sustaining a healthy ecosystem.

The heart of the installation featured elaborate honeycomb structures, symbolising the ten thriving beehives maintained by the restaurant. These structures were intricately designed to capture and reflect sunlight, casting a warm, inviting glow that beckoned festival-goers closer. Crafted with a mix of natural materials, the honeycombs exhibited textures and shades of gold that harmonised with the vibrant colours of the freshly picked fruits interspersed throughout the display.

The selection and arrangement of fruits were meticulously planned to showcase the variety and quality of produce grown in The Five Fields’ garden. Each element was chosen for its colour and texture and how it complemented the biodiversity and natural beauty theme. The final floral design was a tribute to the restaurant’s horticultural efforts and an artistic reflection of the garden’s bountiful yield.

Installing the display required precise coordination, especially given the outdoor setting and the need to maintain the freshness of natural elements throughout the event. Our team ensured each piece was perfectly placed and secured against the bustling backdrop of the Chelsea in Bloom festival.
